Gabrielle Heard is an American artist based in Toronto, Ontario. Her practice is based on the belief that the marginalized should have autonomy over their own stories.Through documentary media and installation she facilitates timely conversations. She showcases the voices most often ignored.

Gabrielle received her MFA from the University of Buffalo.She has exhibited in southwest Virginia at the Eleanor D Wilson Museum and El Museo in Buffalo, NY.
